  05- "555" Blue Pencil Cock

Great Pigeon and real servant to me, fantastic results when you consider he missed a complete year due to arriving home with the top bill of his beak severed in half where he had hit a wire or something on his way home. I had recently culled a pigeon so I cut the top beak off the deceased bird and super glued it on to "555" until his own had grown back. I had to hand feed him for two days as his face was so sore. He repaid me many times over, the only problem now is I have to trim his top bill about once a year. If you look closely in the picture you will see he is ready for another trim. In the first nest I allowed him to rear in the stock pen he produced 07-611 (who is on the racing cocks page). "611" won this year 1st Club 236 birds & 3rd Club 162 birds and handles just like his dad.

"555" results were as follows : 1st Club 117 birds, 1st Club 182 birds, 1st Club 40 birds, 2nd Club 76 birds behind loft mate, 2nd Club 153 birds behind loft mate, 3rd Club 184 birds, 3rd Club beaton by loft mates 85 birds, 4th Club 161 birds, 5th Club 110 birds, 8th Club 175 birds, 8th Club 185 birds, 8th Hurley Open (5 bird limit) 40 birds, 9th Club beaton by 5 loft mates when I took the first five, 9th South Section 655 birds, 10th South Section 710 birds, 15th South Mids Fed 1233 birds plus further results to be added.
