Race Hens 2009

"Bella"

Winner of 3rd Section BICC beaten by two pigeons into Portmouth and Southampton flying 70 & 90 miles shorter in a North West Wind-what a pigeon!

Beautiful Hen for me. Only raced lightly as I usually only keep my hens on the road for about five races due to my cocks taking over.

"07-706" Blue Hen

Lovely well balanced hen that showed great promise as a yearling this year. Will become an important hen in the team for next year I feel. Flew BICC Alencon, Tours and Falaise so plenty of lessons, must perform though in 2009.

12th Section, 73rd Open MNFC Saintes Old Hens National

This hen shows great promise Saintes was 444 miles to me and she was the 2nd pigeon to my loft beating some very good pigeons as a yearling on a tough day.

"06-525" Blue Hen

Beautiful cobby hen, raced really well as a young bird and yearling and had 2008 season off. I really fancy this hen as a stock hen and tried her to "555" in 2008 which they have bred some beautiful pigeons but due to the lack of young bird racing I cannot really judge them. Should be back on the road for 2009.

"08N-775" Blue Cheq Hen

Beautiful hen, real quality in the hand and radiates health and vigour. Has had 2 x Kingsdown, approx 120 mile to me, and came well. Really looking forward to seeing this hen go in 2009. Daughter of the "75" paired to a grandaughter of "Madonna". "75" himself a winner of 1st Club 100 birds, 1st South Section 527 birds,2nd Club 59 birds, 3rd Club 78 birds beaten by two loft mates, 3rd South Section Tours 95 birds, 3rd South Section Alencon 105 birds, 4th Fed Alencon 331 birds, 8th Club 69 birds, 9th Fed 1028 birds, 10th Club 206 birds, 11th Club 185 birds, 11th Centre Section MNFC Alencon, 76th Open MNFC Alencon 5565 birds

"08-794" Blue Cheq Hen

Lovely pigeon, small and cobby just how I like them to race. Sire was the "28" one of my favorite yearling cocks that was in fact lost during the season from Fourgeres withthe MNFC. Dam was "850", who was my best breeding hen from "008" who was always stock. She too was in fact lost from the pen in June this year after the wind blew the door open, had never been out due to being 2004 latebred bred purely for stock. Such a shame especially when you look at the stamp of this pigeon. She has had 2 x Kingsdown, approx 120 miles to me, and again came well being the first hen on both occasions.

"08-951" Blue Cheq Hen

Beautiful Hen, small and cobby real class in the hand. Only flown Bath this year. Daughter of my "96" cock so half sister to "Sammie", & "The 39 Hen". Dam is "708" first year at stock for me and already showing some class herself winner of 1st Club, 1st Club, 3rd Club, 4th Club, 5th Fed, 17th Fed.

"08-937" Blue Cheq Hen

Again typical Webster pigeon, small silky feathering, fantastic balance. Daughter of the "Dirkson" when paired to "Sammie" Will go great next year I'm sure. Has had 2 x Kingsdown 120 mile to me.
